ANOTHER AFL PLAYER VISIT
We had a visit from a Western Bulldogs player on Saturday the 18th June
Bulldogs player Tom Williams - Number 12 !! - .
What a great time the kids had meeting an AFL star, and he was only too happy to sign autographs, have photos and of course do the activities with the kids!!
BRING A FRIEND DAY ***UPDATE***
The bring a friend day was a huge success with over 25 children participating in the days.
The hot dogs at the end of the clinic went down a treat for the kids as well as the adults!!
News from our Auskicker Cara Clarke
On Monday, 13th June, Cara was one of 250 girls participating at a clinic at the MCG in the "Biggest Ever Girls Football Clinic" prior to the big game between Melbourne and Collingwood.
Cara had a great time and received a pink t-shirt on the day and tickets to the game for herself and Mum Debbie.
Both being collingwood supporters they were very happy with the result
EVENT: Western Bulldogs Training Session
We had five of our Auskick kids attend the Junior Footy Training with the bulldogs and they all had a fantastic time.
A very big thanks to the Footy Club for inviting us and for the BBQ after.

Saturday morning, 4th June, at 9am on Oval 2 Diggers Rest
This weekend at Auskick (Saturday 4th June) we are having a "bring a friend" day to join in all the activities and fun.
After the clinic we will have hotdogs and drinks FREE for the participants and their parents.
Diggers Rest NAB AFL Auskick Information:
AUSKICK runs on a Saturday morning from 9am to 10.30 on Oval 2 Diggers Rest
Open to boys and girls aged 5-12yrs. Cost $60.
Season started on April 2nd and will run till the end of August.

Diggers Rest Auskick are WINNERS!
Diggers Rest Auskick has been very lucky this year and won an Australian wide competition.
At the start of the year each centre is given an allocation of footballs with a lucky number on them.
We were given 10 and then had to enter them in an online competition called "Footy Frenzy". The NAB sponsor this with $1000 weekly given away for the 22 weeks of the AFL season to one lucky number and Auskick centre.
Week 6 an the winning number - 9321 - belonged to one of our footballs so we were all very excited and happy to hear the great news.
We can now update the resources for the kids and acquire some additional ones too.
